Sims 4 should run fine on your MacBook. Just make sure you have at least 8GB of RAM as the more EPs, SPs and GPs you add, the more your Mac will struggle to run the game if you only have 4GB. And if you add any CC or Mods, that too will slow down your game. Will the Sims 4 slow down my MacBook Air? I just bought the MacBook Air (2018 model) for college for the next 5 years. But I wanted to download The Sims 4 for my downtime. Should I not do this since it's not a gaming laptop? Will it slow down my computer and make it not worth it? If 64gb enough for a MacBook Air if you want to do YouTube?
Hello!
- Will Sims 4 Slow Down My Laptop As the title says, I'm wondering if downloading Origin along with Sims 4 will significantly slow down my MacBook Air '20? This is a personal laptop, so I don't have any work saved on here.
- All Macs begin to slow down with age — MacBook Pro, iMac, it doesn’t matter. Performing several heavy tasks at a time, your Mac may get slower, and it’s okay. Although, when you’re facing unresponsive windows and slow load time more often these days, your Mac definitely needs a boost. Hi there, I bought sims 4 last week and its is.
I was wondering if my Macbook Air would be able to run TS3 properly? I'm probably going to purchase through Origin and get the bundle that comes with the base game, late night and high end loft stuff and I'm getting another bundle that comes with generations and world adventures. I just wanted to check first if my laptop can handle it.

I'm thinking about purchasing one of the Sims base games and a few expansions for Christmas. But, we do not have a PC or gaming laptop. Will Sims work on a MacBook Air 2017 and if yes, will it slow down the laptop?
Also, is Sims 2, 3, or 4 more fun and why?

- Is there a way to transfer my saved Sims 4 game with all the progress to a different computer? I'm planning on by a new laptop, going from windows to Mac. But I'm very much attached to The Sims 4 game that I have been playing. Have me quite a lot of progress and changes to different things in game that I hope I don't have to do again. Is there any way to transfer my current Game to another computer? I just don't want to redo everything that I've done in the game it took a lot of time.
